I'll make this in point form so I can get back to changing forum stuff.

- It's InvisionFree for now because we can't afford the full version of Invision right now. It's like $150 I think. InvisionFree will have to do for now. Just ignore the ugly URL/ads even though the forum is under the usual guardiansanctuary.net domain name. It should be an easy upgrade to the full version without losing any forum data though, so yeah.

- I'll be taking suggestions of all kinds for the forum in the Questions/Comments section (or this thread for now if you'd like, if you have any forum questions post them in here). GS is for you guys so go nuts. Just remember that we are limited to InvisionFree at the moment.

- POST MOAR/keep it alive! It is your choice if you would like your post count from TLW to carry over here. Just post here, in your intro thread, or PM/IM me if you'd like it to be transferred over!

- We'll be easy on the spam rules since I'd rather have activity than none at all. Just try not to make "annoying" spam where there is no point at all other than to have the last post in the thread. I WILL allow RELEVANT macros and gifs as posts for now because I know I'll be doing it. :U

- I will be adding new skin graphics like the reply, quick reply, etc. buttons. Once I get around to it anyway.

- Let me know if I missed something like forgetting to open Quick Reply in a section or not setting up the posting permissions right or whatever.

I'll probably be the main admin here since I know Jared has other projects to handle. Anything that needs changing or taken care of by an admin can be directed to me. If I'm too busy or I'm away, I'll set a new admin/bother Jared. Other than that, have fun! Yay for GS? :U


EDIT: I'll be updating this thread with changes as I make them.

Latest Updates
- Set up the user groups and user ranks. For the ranks, I've named them all after Mario characters and set the pips up in a way where it shows the character instead of a number of pips. This way, when you change your user title, you can still see what rank you are by looking at the sprite pip. Have fun posting enough to see them all!

- The new banner sucks, but it will do until I get enough inspiration/time to do something better. Suggestions on what it should feature are quite welcome.

- On the left of the main index, Lakitu will tell you if a section has new posts or not. Yay! :U

Well we decided to bring back GS while talking on Skype. I figured I owed you guys a new GS since I kept taking it away over and over again and making other random projects that most of you had no interest in. But you guys always stuck by us and I am very grateful to have friends like you guys.

Anyway, enjoy GS. I'll be here often to help out Heather. Hopefully you guys won't totally abandon TLW but I understand if you do. I know not everyone likes or has played Tactics before. Anyway, enjoy yourself guys. I will try to get a full version when I can.

Heather has done everything to this forum. All I did was buy a domain name and set up the GS invisionfree.... so Jared's section fetish has nothing to do with this. Get the fact right sir. :ph43r:

Also, all Heather did was return this forum to the one exactly like the old GS. Same sections, ect....

Ugh gawdz. Now when I think of "Jeeves" and "TLW", I'll always be reminded of the hilarity that came out of New Posts, Spoiler Tags, and other such issues. <3

I find Invision a million times easier to deal with since I've been on Invision forums for years. And the Admin CP is easy. <3

I think you can only have one skin for InvisionFree. You can suggest some and we can all come to an agreement on one though. ^_^

Pretty sure Ska's the only mod left. He's smack-dab in the middle of a week-long vacation right now, by the way, if anyone was wondering where he was.

One skin? That's pretty weird, since they show me the option of using multiple skins in my control panel. Well, is there a list of themes we can look at and decide on?

There might be a way. I'll look it up. I've never had to deal with skin stuff and I only see one place to paste all the code into in the Admin CP. I'll get back to you. :U

As for a list, you could look up "InvisionFree skins" on Google. That's the way I usually do it.
