Double post because this is ridiculous.
Ok, I had no idea that losing respect for an enjoyable three game series would be so easy after an ending. What the fuck, Bioware? It's like they went, "OKAY, TIME TO WRITE THE ENDING!", then threw the keyboard in a washing machine and left whatever showed up on the screen. Also, I see what you meant by having to play multiplayer for the best ending, Nick. If your Effective Military Strength is too low by the end of the game, you have to play multiplayer to raise one of the multiplyers of the stat. Absolute bullshit. I see a lot of people have gotten more than enough EMS SOMEHOW
without playing multiplayer. I sure as hell didn't even though I played nearly perfect since the beginning of the first game. They add one scene to the ending (ALL OF THEM ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME ANYWAY) and it's just pointless to put the effort into it. If there's another regular ass ME game that takes my save game from ME3, I'll consider multiplayer to get an ending that's slightly better. But I don't care at this point. One of the choices you make even plays on the one part I really fucking hated too so screw that. :U
I was going to do a whole new Shepard and start at ME1 to play all the way through to the end of ME3 because I ended up really liking Kaiden in this one, so I wanted to just do a whole Kaiden romance thing. Ending killed that idea for me. Of course I'm probably overreacting right now since it's fresh, but the ending and the choices did not do the series justice. The DLC will probably just add scenes to them and not change them up so I don't give a fuck about that.
EDIT: Ugh gawdz, ME3 multiplayer is fun. ):
EDITEDIT: I've had time to think about it. I feel even worse. ):
