Lucky has passed away. She had kidney disease, no cure. Anything we could've done would have only prolonged the inevitable. I made the decision to put her to sleep. She passed while looking into my eyes. I'll receive her ashes later.

Here's to an incredible friend, the apple of my eye, and an unbreakable bond that thrived for twelve years.

Lucky has always been there for many years and it is regretful that she had succumbed to such a disease. I pray that her passing was painless and that she is in a better place now. Farewell dear Lucky, you will be missed.

I'm not sure what to say to make things feel even a little better. Just know that she will always be a source of strength for you and she'll never be truly gone from your heart.

I just ran across this again and don't know why I never posted. I feel awful. Lucky was the most soul-ful cat I have ever met. Rest in peace, you have earned it.
