Well guys, I am tired of having this free version of a forum. Nothing will come of it and certainly not one else will join, so I want to upgrade to Invision Power board, which is basically what this is already but with all the bells and whistles to make this a real web site/forum. You all know that these free forums can only do so much so it is time for a change.

Invision power board will cost $150.00, but the good news is that I only have to pay that once. It is optional to renew every 6 months. If I don't renew I simply don't get technical support of upgrades. But anyway, I can't do it on my own right now so I am asking for donations to help pay for the new upgrade. It is alright if you can't donate, I don't blame you but if you are able to then awesome!

Just send it to that email and that will be that. If we go over the mark of $150.00 then I will throw a big GS pizza party! Yay! Or use it to do more with the forum or pay for those optional 6 month renewal things. But yeah, I'll let you all know when to stop before that ends up happening anyway.

If you ask me, those renewals sound about as worthless as paying for a "service plan" with a Best Buy purchase or something.

Urgh, I hate that stupid Best Buy thing they always try to sneak it in whenever I get a game from them. <<

The only good thing the renewal plan is for is the forum upgrades. Technical support I've never really asked much for in my admin life.

I'll see what I can do. I'll have to ask Wayne if we can afford it with us trying to get everything back to the way it was before all the crap-age. Might help too that the Australian dollar is officially more than the American, so instead of giving you $50 and you getting something around like $35, you might get $51. haha

I was thinking about even further contributions! I think reviews of things outside games, such as geeky movies or comics or anime/manga would be in demand. Maybe even a bit opinion pieces about games and other current cultural things. News, of course. And all that stuff!

I'd totally be on board to help out where I can! Wayne & I can''t afford to pay for stuff at the moment. Almost everything already is going on credit cards as it is, BUT! I think I can write a bit. So I'd love to help kick start in other ways. Wherever you need me, I can do it! <3
