This is a thread for all Steam related discussions and deals and stuff!

Anyone have any recommendations? My list is getting bigger but I mostly have casual or indie games. I need more big games that I don't already have/want for consoles!

Steam is pretty badass. I wouldn't mind playing a couple of games on there. I can relive Deus Ex again!

Not sure what games to suggest to you though. I'll have to look some up.

Man, besides Audiosurf, I'm not really sure what to recommend for you. You could give S.T.A.L.K.E.R. a try and Deux Ex GOTY would be nice if want some old school action.

Those are good recommendations, I concur! Also Terraria >_> and Fallout 2!

Aha! I always had a nagging feeling that I was missing something. I need to buy the other Fallout games. <3

I have Deus Ex and I've heard of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Never actually looked into it before. Is it good enough to buy?

If you enjoyed a game like Deus Ex or possibly old Fallout, I would at least give Shadows of Chernobyl a try. I can't really tell you much about the other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games though.

I totally recommend Terraria. Also, I have enjoyed Recettear. It's cute!

Played a bit of Killimg Floor. Got it cheap, but I dont think it is anymore.

I've been on Steam more with the advent of a new computer. It's like a new world to me, so I don't really know what's good yet. Despite that, my library's filled up quite nicely thanks to the humble indie bundle and some Steam gifts! I haven't even gotten around to playing all my games yet.

I guess this holiday season I'll be seeing for myself these crazy sales I'm always hearing about.

PS: Someone should play TF2 with me!

just downloaded TF2, thought once I get my new computer I will re-download. Always liked steam, but they've never had quite enough mac selection to interest me. Now that I'm buying a gaming PC I'm going to be spending a lot of time of steam.

I'll add you today when I get on Steam Mel (assuming you're not already there). Not sure about the rest of the GS crew but I would be more than happy to trade some icy spiked projectiles in Magicka with you sometime. For those who hasn't heard of the game, Magicka would be sort of like B-lands except less guns and more fuck-off spell spam everywhere.

I added you, Mel! :D

And I haven't seen much of Magicka, but if it's really fun I'd try it.
