Ugh... this is a hard topic for me. I regret not finishing Xenogears. The reason I never finished it was because right at the end of disc two my PS1 memory stick was erased. All data gone, all that time and effort up in smoke. I never had the heart to go back and do it again. Although I do have it on the PS3 now so I will try it again on there pretty soon.
Also I never finished Windwaker, another game I was right at the end of. Just stopped playing it. I have many other games I haven't finished but those are probably my biggest regrets. Oh and the first Deus Ex.

Whoa, I swear HTHR said you finished the original Deus Ex. Wow, that sucks you never did.
Probably one of my biggest regrets was never finishing Suikoden II. You have no idea how painful it is to admit I never finished that awesome game. I rented it back when it first released, and, after returning the game unfinished, my parents cancelled their Blockbuster membership. So I could never rent the game again or go buy it since stores never seemed to have it. I'm such an asshole for not going back to play it, especially seeing that I've been able to do so for a while.

I'm not sure I have any that I regret not finishing. Mostly just newer games I haven't had the chance to finish or I just wasn't in the mood. I'll edit if I think of something. :/

I'm pretty much in the same boat as Heather. There's a lot of games I've bought over the past year that I haven't finished, but I haven't dropped any of them cold or anything. Actually, I've recently gone and taken care of some games that I had been regretting not finishing (Link's Awakening and the first Zelda). Not so recently were Marios 1 and 3, which each took me over a decade.
One game I really like that I didn't beat was Little King's Story, but that was because I wasn't liking the very end of the game for various reasons. I don't regret it.
The only games I can think of that qualify for this thread are the Zelda Oracle games...I'll get around to them.
