Mine's that way too. Except it's really old now. Just over 15 years old, to be exact. Which means every time I fix one thing something else happens. Good times!

Yeah, my transmission on my '01 Suburban broke down a few weeks back and luckily I didn't have to pay for a new one. Still cost me a decent amount of money. Fuck cars, where's that hover skateboard from Back in the Future?

Cars are designed that way. Can't make money on new cars if the old ones don't self destruct in 5-8 years.

I'm still pretty thankful for my car. Despite the probs with it. I take pretty good care of my car, but I can't say it was treated well before I got it. There's just so many moving parts all the time, things are bound to wear out. Still sucks, though. Just as you think you're getting ahead financially, something like car troubles comes to remind you you're not anymore. XD

One time we were throwing a birthday party for a friend at another friend's house, and we all got there before him, so we put a note on the door saying it was broken and that he should use the garage door. We waited in the garage and threw bird seed at him by the handful as soon as he opened the door.
