Well, I don't know too much about this game! But I do know:
  • It looks fun.
  • It's online.
  • We should play it.
  • I already ordered it. :x
It's not Mario party! It's more like Monopoly if anything. Um...have a video!

I actually want to play as the Dragonlord.

Anyway, I'll have a friend over to play with soon, so...personal impressions then.

I know plenty about Itagaki Street stuff since back in the day, this was all about FF characters and DQ characters. I lost a lot of interest in this when they replaced the FF characters with Nintendo, but meh. I'll probably get it eventually. I will still resent the lack of Vivi. ):

I'll always prefer Mario Party though. :user

Yeah, I was interested when it was FF characters. I really wanted Vivi to be in the game, but oh well. It does look kinda fun though.

I was wondering when the Itadaki Street series was going to make it to the Wii. I've been seeing those games around for years but never got to play them since, obviously, they never came stateside. I may just purchase this down the road since I do like the Monopoly based gameplay (plus having the DQ characters is a nice bonus).

Okay, so I said I would give some impressions. Well, here they come!

I was right, it's fun! I like it better than Monopoly. There's more depth to it, which the stock market is largely responsible for. Nothing like a night of cutting deals with your pals while you screw each other (financially). It's got some really nice music covers from both franchises and plenty of boards of different shapes and sizes to play on.

Be sure to set aside a sizable chunk of time before playing and expect to be in it for the long haul, because, like many board games, a game can last a couple of hours. Despite that, I've yet to get bored mid-game.

I actually ended up liking playing as my mii a lot! There's a lot of mii customization options, such as costumes, animations, pets/accessories, even going as far as to allow you to customize the behavior of the AI that will take over for you if you take a break. My mii's rocking a waiter vest and is constantly accompanied by a little boo ghost.

Uhhh, yeah, I think that wraps up my impressions. To conclude:
