I had this crazy sci-fi dream last night!
It didn't start out sci-fi, first it was me at a hotel/diner place, with some friends. I was trying to figure out how to get a ride out to Langley, which is like.. a small town about 3 hours away from me, so I could go to a rap concert!
But I didn't get to go, and I was sad, but I got a free hat out of it, somehow. Which also sucks, cause I don't wear hats.
..Regardless! Then I was like.. on this spaceship, with one of the girls from the diner. But the spaceship was in danger! We were in a different part of the ship than the captain, but he let us know that the ship was probably gonna explode. His options were to try a risky maneuver that could possibly save everyone, but would probably kill everyone.. or else save himself, and kill everyone.
So he elected to kill everyone! But it was really epic! This chunk of the spaceship sliced through this other part of the ship, and we were all "Noooooesssss!" and there were sparks and explosions and then THE EMPTYNESS OF SPACE.
But I had some weird suit that made magic rings of safety.. I space-swam up a little bit, towards a part of the outer hull of the ship, and the girl safely followed. But then I just pointed at this letter 'F' that was in a window. I don't know what the significance of the letter was, but I knew it meant something deep and important to both of us. The girl saw it, then it disappeared. And then our magic rings ran out, and the cold vacuum of space smacked me in the face and I died/woke up.
..And it was the best kind of waking up, all sudden and "Whaaa!" and kind of freaked out.
...Cool!

Ah, don't you love when completely arbitrary things hold deep, significant meanings in dreams? I often dream with what feels like an entire lifetime's worth of dream-memories corresponding to whatever I'm dreaming at the time, which makes it all the more real and difficult to come to grips with the fact that it was all fake when I wake up.
The last dream I remember was a nightmare from a few days ago. To sum it up: I accidentally smoked a cigarette, spent the rest of the dream fraught with worry that I had addicted myself, and eventually I woke up in a bad mood.

Haha glad to see you guys still have you own good share of craziness.
Had another strange one last night that I was playing putt putt on the moon with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin was keeping score. If that wasn't strange enough, the actual holes were...well....black holes!

I just had a dream that had me walking down the side of a road on the outskirts of a town. There was another guy walking on the same side of the road, going the other way. He was taller than me, was sporting a large coat, had a face rather like that of Samurai Goroh (sunglasses included, bandana not), but he wasn't a heavyset man, and his hair was mostly shaven off save for a gelled-up spike of green-dyed hair in the front-center area of his head.
As we drew closer to one another, he adjusted his course in such a way that would cause him to brush unnecessarily close to me when we would pass, and noticeably quickened his pace. I was uneasy. "What's he going to do?" I thought. I became so nervous that right before we passed by each other I broke into a run past him. I then decided to fake like I was jogging, but knew it wouldn't make things much less awkward. After a few seconds, I glanced behind me, and he had done an about-face and was running as well! I was startled and perplexed, and dropped the jogging act in favor of running as fast as I could.
I looked behind me again and he was still running. Still looking his way, a smile crept across my face before I could notice it. I gave a moment to take in the absurdity of the situation I found myself in. Before I knew it, I was laughing! And this guy...he was smiling, too! After that, he overtook me, but I passed him again. We were both inhumanly fast in this dream world, running a few miles in just as many minutes. But I imagine, in this world, this was average running speed. We continued trading places as we ran into and through town. This man, who had minutes prior intimidated me so much, was now running at my side for no evident reason, laughing heartily. I was running, and I was laughing. And the two of us hadn't said a word to one another. We continued racing down the middle of the road, moving out of the way of the occasional car, through the whole dream, making use of our endless stamina. There was no destination. We were still running when I woke up.
I think, in its own way, it was a somewhat beautiful dream.

Okay, so the other night, I had a nightmare. I was living in the top floor of a very large house, and I heard a sound, and looked out the window to find a harrier jet slowly moving over the house. I didn't think much of it. "Oh, that's pretty cool," I thought.
Until it tore the roof off of the house! I think it did that by employing the use of some goofy Dr. Robotnik-style dangling robot arm. I didn't see such a thing, but nonetheless that was the conclusion I had drawn. After removing the very roof over my head, it was hovering above, and then it tilted until its wingspan was completely vertical, arwing-style. And then.......it started screwing with the arrangement of my room! Its wing was dipped into my room, and the plane just sort of....wiggled around slowly, gently sliding and knocking things over with its wing. "Hey, what are you doing?!" "Don't knock that off of there!" "That's not where that goes! Stop touching stuff!!" These were the thoughts screaming in my head, but the mischievous harrier didn't care....ier. This went on for what felt like ten minutes, and then the dream simply ended.
Yeah, I had a nightmare about a fighter jet terrorizing me by offending my somewhat OCD-like sensibilities. :(

That is absolutely hilarious, Jeeves. No other way to put it.
I've had a few dreams the past couple days, but I don't remember them. ):

Ok, had a good one (that I remembered) last night.
First off, the sun went supernova and engulfed our galaxy. Afterward, I'm floating through space (pretty dead I might add) when suddenly this huge planet with a wise old man face appeared. He began speaking to me about "how there was still much that needed to be done" and some other crap out of my comprehension. Then, this strange being summoned a small golden ball of light and eased it slowly into my body. Kaboom! I explode and transform into a completely different person (think Dr. Strange with a little Human Torch)! In no time at all, these other humanoid figures of light began appearing that resembled how I looked. The strange planet then begins speaking these last words: "The time has come for that which has been done must be undone." And then...
My alarm wakes me up! Sigh, wish I was off today.

In other news, I had a dream last night, and I remembered it! In this dream, I was at a party or some kind of banquet. It was a pretty upscale place. Anyway, I'm standing at the snack table, because...where else would I be, and I'm trying to talk to someone. But there's this woman standing on the opposite side of the table who keeps touching my face. Like...not in a sensual kind of way or anything, just sort of...poking and prodding, generally around my mouth area. I try to ignore it while I talk to the other person, but after a couple of minutes...well, I mean come on! Enough is enough! So I pull her hand away from my face, and she just gives me this look. As if to say, "How dare you." Keep in mind this woman and I never exchanged a word. So I keep talking, and her hand draws near again. So I lean back, out of her reach until she lowers her hand. I return to normal posture, still talking, and...yep, here comes the hand again. This time I just grab her by the wrist and don't let go. She shoots that look at me again and doesn't stop for the entire time I'm holding her wrist, which is a few minutes. She never actually resists, she only glowers. Eventually I decided I had sent a strong enough message, so I let go. Neither I or my partner in conversation ever verbally acknowledges the situation at hand (pun). After maybe half a minute, the woman just goes back to touching my face, and that's how the dream ends.
A bit on the tame side, maybe, but just as weird as anything else.
