So I just took the baby kitten, the one I found on the side of the road earlier last week, to the animal shelter an hour ago. Honestly, I'm full of regret right now doing so but I know I can't take care of it, mainly since no one can look after the little guy while I am out of town. Memories are flooding back when my black cat Sylvester (who my grandmother kept for me since my mom was allergic) got ran over by my half-drunk Uncle one Christmas. Sigh, feeling so meh right now.

At least it's with people who can take care of it. And maybe a family who can afford the time and love will take it.

If you can't take care of it, you did the right thing. I know it is hard to give up something like an animal which you probably started to have a bond with but it is probably for the best.
